Had a bit too much fun painting this piece! The colours all layered on top of each other in such a unique way, to the point where it looks so much like tie-die patterns.

This painting reminds me of my home, where I grew up on the Sunshine Coast. There’s stunning beaches and breath-taking views every corner you turn. Though, living here life is pretty fast paced, and so it can be hard to stop and enjoy the scenes. It’s easy to take it all for granted.

So, when I see this piece, hung up on my wall with its matching partner, ‘on waves in rainy dayz’, they remind me to stop and take a moment & appreciate what’s been pasted down to me by chance.
