A portrait of our cat. Pigeon is always looking out the window since she’s not allowed outside. So I had to add the window in there since it’s her favourite thing to do. Plus I added in a scene I think she’d enjoy looking out into. Maybe a coast off Ireland or something pretty like that.
For the wallpaper in the background, I took inspiration from my favourite quilt cover, I’ve had it since I was twelve probably. I think I love just adding in whatever I’m familiar with into my art. That way I can give a little personal touch in with it, but its only subtle, and to someone else it’s a cute painting that matches their vibe. Which is cool too. I hope my nostalgia matches your vibe :)
