I made this piece back in 2019, When I was 16 years old. for some odd reason I was set back then to create one tiny painting a day… that goal lasted 2 days lol. The piece I made after this one is also listed, his name is ‘Albert’s Portrait’.

I think the story behind this one is related to life as a teenage girl, struggling with her self image. I remember fixating on so many different parts of my body and face. Bits of myself I hadn’t ever questioned before. But that all passes eventually. Later on those very insecurities become what you love most about yourself believe it or not!
